Caspri & Co

Arezzo, Tuscany, Italy

Caspri & Co is a new project started in 2021 by Bertrand Hapsiger, who wished to create the finest possible wines from the best grapes at the best price. The result is Caspri & Co, a value driven project that utilizes a minimum of 20% organically grown estate fruit from Fattoria di Caspri blended with purchased organic fruit from nearby friends and neighbors. All the wines are made by Bertrand using the same exacting standards that he uses for Fattoria di Caspri.

Caspri & Co. red wines are vinified in conical wooden tanks where spontaneous fermentation occurs followed by an extended maceration of three to four weeks. 20% of the fruit is destemmed. Depending on the harvest and character of the wine, little or no SO2 is added.

Caspri & Co wines are packaged with a generic white label to save on costs and some cuvees are available in environmentally sustainable packaging such as bag in box. In short, Caspri & Co offers exceptional quality, character-driven wines at very reasonable prices.
