Job Description:

Field Blend Selections is a wine importer/distributor bringing wines of quality and value to the NY, NJ, and PA markets. With a focus on wines of character made by grape growers with minimal intervention in the cellars, our portfolio represents over 50 small and family run producers throughout Europe and California. We put tremendous value on our relationships – producers, customers, and team alike – and understand that people are the heart of this business. We’re currently hiring salespeople in all markets to develop and maintain strong customer relationships and participate in our company’s growth.

The ideal candidate:
- Has sales experience (retail or restaurant experience is a plus)
- Has strong communication and inter-personal skills
- Is knowledgeable and passionate about wine
- Is highly organized
- Is an energetic, determined, and motivated self-starter
- Has solid time management skills
- Is committed to providing excellent customer service
- Thrives in a collaborative work environment
- Has the ability to carry/lift up to 45 lbs.

Responsibilities include:
- Expanding account list through targeted outreach
- Developing existing accounts through proactive communication and regular meetings/tastings
- Promoting our portfolio through trade and consumer events
- Ongoing development of wine knowledge and understanding of our portfolio
- Executing company-wide sales strategies and meeting established sales targets and goals

Sales/wine experience and a solid network within the industry are a significant plus but are not required. If you don’t have experience but believe you have the skillset (including drive and a lot of persistence), we’d like to hear from you. Compensation:
- Compensation is commensurate with experience
- Commission on sales with an initial guarantee
- Paid time off including holidays & vacation days
- Expense reimbursement
